My sister is getting married TOMORROW. Everyone is all over the place. It's like the sky coughed out all my relatives and I'm being drowned in a sea of squabbling aunties. So stressful. Fingers crossed it all works out well tomorrow! It's going to be a loooooong day for me - up before 5am and it looks like I'll be getting little to no sleep tonight!

Wedding jitters....and I'm not even the one getting married!

Okay, I am now officially desperate. My sister's wedding is right around the corner and I STILL do not have my maid of honor speech! I've been pondering for months on end (I swear!) and I'm still coming up empty. I just don't know what to say. She has so many speeches lined up and I have to be LAST. Which means all the good stuff will be said three times over and I'll look like I'm unoriginal if I don't come up with something out of this world. I'd love for mine to be short but funny ...nothing sappy because I don't want to cry in front of a million people.

As for her hens night, her other bridesmaid and I have organised our version of 'Amazing Race' customised to see how much she knows about her future husband. There will be clues and challenges and detours and roadblocks! She'll be hauling her ass around the city and we even threw in a busking challenge where she'll have to use whatever talent she has to get her next clue. She's gonna kill me :) Ah well.....she better love it. It's one of her favourite shows and since she's not one for the whole girls gone wild and wearing condoms stapled to a veil thing, this should be to her liking. If she can actually figure out where her final destination is, all the girls will be waiting at a funky mexican restaurant where we'll start the night with dinner and some salsa classes!

All of this the day after I fly. Hope the jetlag doesn't get to me!
